Every new concept must go through a product development process before it can be manufactured. At MADE, we break down this process into manageable stages as you see on our How it Works page.
When you receive and estimate from us it is for one “step”. When you accept our estimate you begin the onboarding process and the ‘step’ becomes known as a ‘project’. The scope of a project is unique to each client, and at the end of each project you will have what is needed to proceed to the next ‘step’.
The steps can’t happen out of order, since they build on the previous step, but if you have used another agency for any of these steps, we can pick up where they left off. Even better, if you use our services and then need to shift to another agency they can build from our work, too! This is why our process has proven to be so successful.
The Estimate Process - When you accept an estimate from us you will receive a services agreement to your email within a few minutes. Review and let us know if you have any questions, otherwise complete the signing process. Right after you sign, another email will be sent and this will be the deposit invoice. It is either 50% or $500, whichever is more. If your project is under $500 the total will be due. Once you’ve made the deposit payment we schedule your Intake Session!
The Intake Session - Once your payment is received we will schedule a 30-minute video intake session to be held within a week of your onboarding. In this session, we will review the scope of your project in more depth, and assign tasks and review project goals. We will also answer any last-minute questions before we get started.
Project Timeline - We generally start within a week of your intake session and finish your project within one week after that. Yes, that is right…for every project no matter what the step - 2 weeks!
Review Session/Final Payment - Upon completion of your project, we will send a notification email that your project is complete along with the final invoice. We will also schedule your 30-minute video review session within the next week. During this meeting we will review the project with you and answer questions. After this, we will send you an estimate for the next ‘step’ and the process starts all over again.
