Test the market and your costs, or scale your production
Small Batch Manufacture
Before committing to the cost of a tech pack, we can get you started with low minimums to gauge market interest. This will give you enough pieces for fit testing, colorway and fabric choice, salesman samples or photo shoots.
SAMPLE BATCH - Starting at $50/hour - We can sew anywhere from a few to a few dozen in the sizes, colorways or fabrication of your choice. This option is not always cost effective as an ongoing manufacture option but it does give you some inventory if you are trying to gauge interest and test the market.
ON DEMAND- Starting at $75/hr -We sew your pieces as you receive orders. This pay as you go option is more expensive in the long run, but eliminates committing to inventory that may not sell right away.
To keep our minimums low, our sewing is done at an hourly rate. We work to sew as many pieces in an hour as possible to improve you per piece price; however all small scale manufacture is generally considered to be an expense. If you are coming to us as a new client with an outside pattern, we must first do a Sewn Sample to evaluate pricing for manufacture services.
If you already have a tech pack and are ready for larger scale production, we can help you transition to the manufacturer of your choice.
MANUFACTURE TRANSFER -$500 One Time Fee
We coordinate the tech transfer of your project to any clothing factory within the US. MADE will ensure your manufacturer has all the materials and supplies needed to sew your first sample. We will “run interference” with any questions or other issues they may encounter as they sew. You will be informed every step of the way without having to manage the process. At completion of sewing your sample you will work directly with the manufacturer to discuss costing and quantities and begin coordinating your own production!
LARGE SCALE MANUFACTURE - $200 Monthly Subscription
Everything in Manufacture Transfer, but we continue managing production beyond your first sample and as long as you need for ongoing production. This type of manufacture is best if you anticipate adding more styles, revising current styles or expect to produce quantities over 200 on a regular basis.
